Here's a fun interactive article about the words used to describe female and male characters in books.
I really loved the charts and they seem like they could be a good reference to shake up writing descriptions.
I also got 9/10 on the quiz (and I know exactly why I got the one wrong).

Haha, another one for getting stumped by the little hands. An interesting read overall! It's terrible how shallow we still can be in our literature. Has ever a character been described as pimply for a purpose other than making it clear that they're unpleasantly awkward, maybe unhealthy and unclean to boot?
