Son of a Stitch & Bitch

Crochet hook too big for me gatdamn pattern!!
I was excited because my crochet library books came in with the patterns I wanted 🤩 So I went to the store after work today to get some yarn for a couple projects I want to tackle. But I started on making test squares for the easier(?) one after dinner and my hooks (2) are either too small or too big 😫 and ofc I can't get another one until tomorrow 😖 I was thinking of just using the 1-inch larger square I ended up with, but that would pretty much double the size 😅 and ultimately I think it'd be too big. Ah, I can wait, but I was excited to start on my 200 granny squares 🤪

My coworkers (1 a seasoned crocheter and 1 a newbie like me) were also saying today that we should meet up for a crochet session and I couldn't help, but think that it's such an old lady thing to do haha, but it would definitely be fun. Hopefully we can work it out with our different schedules. We're already playing Stardew every other Thursday, so maybe a different day, or we replace that activity 🤔 Meeting up online and meeting up irl are different beasts tho.
