In the beginning my silly little hobbies were spaced by twenty-four weeks, then twelve, then six, then every two weeks. The last one...crocheting... was a week. In four days, we could be seeing a new hobby every eight hours until they are changing every four minutes.

So I finished that Python class and it wasn't even that hard I was just stressing myself out because I looked at the final project ahead of time and I didn't know what the hell it was talking about and got worried even though the next module explained everything ha ha ha.
After that I got some project books from the library and made some little games and even a couple functions to use at work! But when I showed people at work they were TOO impressed and were like "you gotta go get a better job now" and I'm just thinking dude I don't actually know anything what are you talking about. Also I don't WANT a coding job??? As far as I'm concerned it's just another silly hobby I'm into.
I also started some Javascript projects so I can maybe do some cool stuff on my website sometime with that. I'm thinking of making a random fortune button, there was a whole 'nother project attached to this idea, but I think I'll just lump it in on my website (which I do need to update. Other people have such cool websites 😩).

Then I found out about Gameboy Studio and I got obsessed with playing around with that, because ultimately what I've always wanted to do by learning coding is make a game. I started designing a game for GBStudio while also writing all my notes about it in French because why not I don't know multi-tasking hobbies I guess. And I watched a lot of game dev logs too which were very interesting and helpful, all my day was spent working, or thinking about, and enjoying this process. BUT THEN the need for youtube videos to play while I worked took me to the art side of gamedev and I was like "well, I gotta get into pixel art now of course, let me draw some stuff" and I drew one swan for my game then suddenly I realized "y'know what actually I should make a different game and not this swan game" so forget all those notes I already wrote. What I actually need to make is that rhythm game I'm always on about duh! Which, yes I think that is the direction I should go because the swan-story idea actually feels like it's out of hand already and a rhythm game has a smaller scope. But before I could pivot into that I got such an urge to delve into more Pathfinder stuff.

I completely forgot about GB Studio and started looking at Pathfinder stuff and stuff about playing solo games. I collected a lot of materials and found some good lore channels and other good Pathfinder content to watch while I do other things. For instance there is a video about the River Kingdoms playing while I type this.

I was originally looking for Numeria stuff because that region of Golarion is interesting, but I got MAJOR whacked upside the head by Ustalav. Because Ustalav has EVERYTHING. It's got draculas, werewolves, ghosts, haunted houses, frankenstein, phantom of the opera, lichs, witches, fallen angels, and even scifi monsters a la cthulu crap.
I made two characters and had them go through a dungeon I designed with the help of random tables. I want to get them to about level four or five through my own dungeons before trying some of the adventures in the Dark Archive book and Haunting of Harrowstone (Carrion Crown book 1). Everything is designed for groups of four, but I don't think I'd want to control that many characters so I have to either get my two double leveled and/or adjust the pre-written adventures. It's fun to journal/write up my character's journeys, but I did find myself getting tired of fighting too much. And the random table's percentages were too low for loot and clues so I was doing a lot of adjusting which could be tiring too. But since that was the first time ofc it would take some getting used to. I think going forward though I should limit the amount of time I spend 'adventuring' lest I get burnt out.

Kind of in the middle of my Pathfinder binging I decided to take up crochet. I was messing around with my sister, telling her I was going to crochet her a opossum scarf (because I keep telling her she could have a pet opossum to which she replies that they are gross (they aren't)). But a coworker of mine actually crochets and she encouraged me to actually do it. So I've been practicing crocheting while listening to Pathfinder lore videos. So far I've made two "coasters" and a ball on a string for a cat's toy. (ohhh btw my cat was pregnant and she had her babies on 6/1 so I was like "I'm gonna make some toys" lol).

And this has all happened in about a month. Not to mention continuing to learn French, and touch typing, and cursive during all this. And ofc reading novels and writing, and playing video games (started a co-op Stardew game). Almost starting Morse code and sign language for the Nth time, and brushing up a tiny bit on shorthand. We are reaching critical mass silly hobby convergence!!!
