I love emojis. Not enough to watch that Emoji movie, or maybe because I do love them I couldn't possibly watch them be portrayed like that. Just kidding.

I do love to use emojis though and one of the biggest hurdles is desktop use. I circumvented this by going to iemoji.com and copy-pasting what I needed. A bit of a hassle, but worth it.

Oh, I was such a fool! All this time, right here at my fingertips, there was magic in the form of a simple hotkey configuration. Windows Key + . brings up an emoji keyboard 😀
What's more it has kaomoji/emoticons and special characters too! No longer do I have to bring up the entire character map application just to get an em dash.

Why did it take me so long to discover this? It's a lifesaver.
