Lovely word trackers. Beautiful spreadsheets chock full of cells with formulas that populate graphs to ponder over.

This first one is shared through Google Docs by a kindly chap from Reddit, Mr. Horsley.
It tracks words by session and has a multitude of fun tabs that show you different stats about your data. Daily/Weekly/Monthly stats, stats by document, and tons of charts (word count by day of week, word count by time of writing, & many more)! This includes a fun leaderboard that can give you a boost by treating writing as a game and tells you which document you're really vibing with.

The downsides of this tracker are few, but weighty. First one is that it can take some time to load in Google Docs if you have entered a lot of information. The second is that since this tracker is to be used by doing writing sessions and you can have more than one session in a single day... it gets full of data rather quickly if you don't amalgamate your sessions. Using it over the last two years I've found I get overwhelmed by it in summer and stop using it. It could theoretically be split into half-years or separated by monthly use, or downloaded and used in Excel which may load it faster (haven't tested that myself) if you don't mind having more documents saved to your GoogleDrive or computer.

This second one is from Tumblr user [tumblr.com profile] tryslora. You can download and use it on Excel or import a copy into Google Docs.
This one is a daily wordcount tracker by document. Meaning you just enter your document's numbers and it saves the bit of math of adding document wordcounts together. It features a dedicated yearly wordcount goal tracker that shows you if you're on track for hitting your goal, how many words per day you need to write, and let's you manually enter how many words per month you'd like to be getting on your way to your goal. It features three graphs: a daily word count graph, a monthly WC graph, and a goal progress graph.
There is also a page to track and compare your Ao3 stats by year and one to compare your monthly wordcounts by year if that's something you've been keeping track of.
This will be my first time using this tracker, but it looks easy enough to use and tweak.

Lastly, speaking of Word Count goals...
I'd like to mention the tracker you can gain access to in the [dreamwidth.org profile] getyourwordsout Community!
(Of course I shan't include a link to the tracker due to how the Comm requires you to join for access.)

I used the Habit Tracker one this year and it's easy to use, plus I love that the GYWO trackers can pull double duty and track two things from: days, words, hours, and pages!
Consider making a pledge with the Community if you haven't yet and tracking your progress with one of these trackers. Sign-ups for 2021 end Jan 18, 2021.

Whether you use trackers or not happy writing in 2021 and good luck!
