A little late to this so I'll do two questions a day until I catch up. Something simple and fun to get me posting here :^)

Day 1: What's changed about your fandom life in the last 365 days?
I've read a lot more fanfiction than I have since, phew, high school. I really appreciate people who leave Kudos and Comments on my stuff on AO3 so I like to go check out their profiles and read anything that appeals to me if they have works up. And when I went on that road trip earlier in the year I took a bunch of Fanfics I had downloaded (some I saved over a year ago, oop) and read them on my Kindle (then left kudos/comments on the fics when I got back home). And being on Dreamwidth I occasionally come across people's fanfics and read those too if I'm familiar with the series and sometimes even if I'm not! I've wanted to become more active in Fandom spaces in the last couple years and I see reading and writing FF as a big part of that, even if I don't actually post much, ahah.

Day 2: You've got your OTP, you have to throw a third into the mix (from the same fandom), creating an OT3. Who is the OTP, and in your opinion, why would they make a perfect third for them? Bonus question: What about adding a third to your OTP from a different fandom? Who and why?

My Dragon Age OTP, Hawke and Fenris, do very well with Isabela. I love the three of them together and I include a bit of it in my own headcanon/world state :^) In canon they both have great chemistry with her. When Hawke doesn't romance Fenris or Isabela there's suggestion that Fenris and Isabela get together at least once if not more times. I kind of love this detail.
I... guess I have an atypical approach to OTPs though, but I really don't mind breaking up my favorite pairs (most of the time, very few couples I enjoy only with each other). "That's not an OTP then! That's multi-shipping!" Well, I still think they are the best with each other even so. I consider it to be on the same level of a traditional OTP.
As for the bonus question: Me. Because I'm a fan of me :^p (Also I hate crossovers lmao).

I also love to check out the profiles of people who leave comments on my AO3 works. It has turned out to be a great way of finding yet more fanfic either through what they've written or their bookmarks....

I've seen quite a bit of Hawke/Fenris/Isabela and I agree that works well as an OT3 for the very reason you mentioned. Do you have any favorite stories with those three (either all together or mixed-and-matched)?

Also, where is this June Something event? It looks neat! (^^)

Hmm, I haven't actually read much of this, but these two fics come to mind:

Let Somebody In - 6k [E] Fenris/F!Hawke/Isabela "Isabela makes it her mission to have a threesome with Fenris and Hawke."

My OTP is actually M!Hawke/Fenris, but F!Hawke is great for this pair/thruple too of course. Now I must go find Fenris/Isabela fics 🕵️‍♂️

I also really like any combo of Hawke, Fenris, and Isabela! They're all so great and can have such interesting dynamics together. I think my approach to OTPs is very similar to yours--I have favorites but it's rare that I have only one ship for a character I like, and if I do, it's usually just because nothing else has struck my fancy yet.

Yes! They just work so well. If I could add another to the mix it'd be Merrill for a big messy polycule 👀 (I see it being strained because of Fenris' attitude 😂).
I think DA2 is the media where I'm most like "these are all the characters I like *smushes them together*" And it helps that they all have a clear dynamic with each other.

Nice to know someone with a similar approach! I've never held the OTP to be sacrosanct *audience gasps*
I can never pass up a juicy pairing, even if it breaks up my main pairing. More opportunity for pining and angst too if I so choose to continue holding A & B as an OTP in that version of the story too >:^]

There would definitely be tension between Merrill and Fenris! but I also love Isabela/Merrill and yeah I could see that being a big messy polycule with Fenris kind of pretending Merrill isn't there. :'D

When it comes to pairings, I figure there can be infinite universes for infinite combinations! Sometimes too I even like certain ships as temporary, or ended by a character's death, etc. Sometimes it's fun when things are complicated.

ao3 makes it so much easier to find fic you like too!! I remember the days of scouring through livejournal communities and hoping that people had a masterlist of their fic available.
