I know it's July, but I actually had these finished I was just too pressed with other stuff to get on my tablet and post them

Day 12: Who is someone that you share the most fandoms with? At the risk of the ire of my irl best friend, it's got to be Karp (whom I mentioned here). My irl best friend is more of a normie than I am 😂 She's into some anime and games and I can rec things to her, but idk I mostly only care about games and comics while she's more rounded in interests I consider normie like TV shows, musicians, being on instagram 😂
Karp though I could name at least 5 fandoms we share off the top of my head and there's a lot of games and shows we mutually like. I think I've liked just about everything she's recommended to me too 😂

Day 13: Squicks - What are some things that squick you in fandom? From anything involving blood, to bad grammar.
Hrm, there's not much that gives me an instant gut repulsion? Isn't that what a squick is? There are things I don't like though, of course. Things I'll not look at or quickly scroll past. An interesting one might be how much I dislike characters using "babe" as a term of endearment. I just don't like it. And it's only that one, other terms of endearment are fine. It's not at the make u sick squick level though? I just mentally write it out lol.

Day 14: What fandom broke your heart?
Idk. I wouldn't say any broke my heart specifically, but I definitely knew/know of a few fandoms that were/are atrocious. And got to the point of harrasment, dogpiles, and doxxing which is extremely scary. That's heartbreaking over all.

Day 15: What fandom pairing took you over like Venom took over Eddie?
Fenhawke!!! From milisecond number 0.000001. I love Fenris and Hawke so much, I love them together even more (and I also love them broken up :^)c ). The pair is what initially glued to me to the series. Origins is a great game and I love Alistair, Morrigan, the whole Origins crew, but I LOVE DA2 and I LOVE LOVE FENHAWKE.

Day 16: Do you have a fandom that you follow - either regularly or casually - with little to no knowledge of canon?
FFXIV. I've played a miniscule amount of it, but my friend is INTO it. So, I try to keep up with stuff so I can talk with her about it. I barely know anything, but I reblog art of the characters she and I like (in my case mostly for aesthetics xD). And I'll read fic of it even if I don't know the broader story because individual dramas are, well, contained. I'm excited for their Moonwalking later this year. Hope they all have fun.

Day 17: Do you prefer art, fic, or vids? Why? Bonus: If someone was to give you a fandom gift, what format would it be?
I used to mostly prefer art and read very little fanfiction. I used to draw way more and not write at all, but now I've gotten into writing myself and I like fic and art equally. Art is just easier to consume. As for vids, idk just never really checked them out, even though I did make my own Windows Movie Maker videos (never posted them though because even with the few times I connected my computer to the internet I didn't even know youtube existed at the time xD).
If someone gave me a fandom gift it would be in any format they wanted! I've gotten art from friends in the past and I love those pieces tremendously. Someone also made me a plushie once!

Day 18: Recall a time when two of your fandoms collided, at least in some way.
Okay, this still freaking blows me away and I can't believe I was like 8 years UNAWARE of this. The timeline didn't match up enough for me to truly appreciate it until then though so >
For a long time I was a HUGE fan of J-Pop artist GACKT. He was in Final Fantasy VII Dirge of Cerberus and Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core. I was also into Final Fantasy VII, so that was really cool, but this isn't what I'm talking about. GACKT being in Final Fantasy is not unexpected.
I eventually started losing my interest in his career (though his music still bops). I went from following his releases very closely to getting them just to keep up my collection (they still bopped tho. I was just tired of all his antics and merch drops. Do you know how many DVDs I have and the even more I don't have. Sigh). I distinctly remember him releasing a song titled "Until the Last Day D.A. Edit" and I remember wondering what the hell that was supposed to mean. Chalked it up to him doing something weird again. This came a bit after his Yellow Fried Chickenz thing and I was not into that project one bit so I wasn't about to look into whatever that was (had neither the patience nor the bandwith).
The next year I would find myself wading deep into the waters of Dragon Age. I had played Origins and really liked it. Fell in love with DA2. Knew Inquisition was on the way sometime in the next few years. Got really deep into the fandom in the following years. It became my new thing, but I was still late checking everything out cuz I wasn't super into collecting for it until ~2018.
Takes me until like last year to finally watch the Dragon Age movie Dawn of the Seekers. AND THERE'S A GACKT SONG AT THE END. It was my first time watching it and I was hosting a stream of it on my Discord server and I'm just sitting there in chat like "omfg this is GACKT" trying to keep myself together and not spam even though I was losin' my grip. IT WAS THE LAST THING I EXPECTED. I finally learned what "D.A. Edit" meant after all those years xD.
The wildest thing is, that even if I had watched the PV (music video) for "Until the Last Day" when it released I would not have cared that it was in a Dragon Age movie and I definitely didn't know anything about Cassandra at that point. It wasn't until the very next year after its release that I officially became a Dragon Age fan. These things slid right past each other for me. It's so wild. It made such a huge impact on me the day I watched the movie cuz like wow. Wild.

Day 19: What is something that you associate with a character in fandom, but aren't sure if it's canon or fandom?
Nothing I guess? I always try to stick pretty close to canon myself so I hardly adopt fanon.

Day 20: A random character shows up at your doorstep at dinnertime saying a friend sent them. Why did your friend send that person, how does it go, and what do you talk about?
You know that episode of Community where Troy Barnes meets LeVar Burton? Yeah, that would happen. xD
