alaterdateI just found my old youtube channel that I used to stream on and actually uploaded some vids to. I mostly uploaded videos there just to show my friends things and I'm so glad I didn't make all of them them unlisted, unlike all the stream captures, because then I would have NEVER seen these again. Every once in a while I'd think about them, but couldn't find them until today!
Just some silly little things, but ah, I can't for the life of me get back into this account, I don't know if it's my super dead email or whichever other one it is, but there's 3 public videos, I just wonder what else is in there!?

Lunar KNIGHTMAN
An AMV for Lunar Knights with a remixed version of the Dayman from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia that I made as a joke because my best friend told me to. (I still like it though lol).

An AMV made of manga panels from the Bleach manga featuring Ulquiorra and Orihime set to the Florence and the Machine song "Between Two Lungs". It is very basic and just uses the fade transition and also I remember being intent on cutting the song up for artistic purposes even though I had no audio editing software beyond Windows Movie Maker's lacking built in features.
This Bleach video is the video I tried searching for because I was sure it was public, but I could not remember the title at all!! This is the very last ever serious AMV I made in windows movie maker. I used to make vids like this all the time in WMM (I did NOT know what AMVs were when I started making them in elementary school though lmao), but none were ever published publicly except for this single one because I didn't even know what youtube was until 8th grade and even then I still did not go on the internet very much until college and also like I said I stopped making them xD But I still had this one and wanted to show my friends the kinds of videos I used to make for fun.
Funnily enough... I didn't even really ship this pairing. I remember it being popular and controversial (apparently the Bleach fandom had HUGE over-the-top shipping wars, I wouldn't know. I downloaded the chapters at the library and read them offline at home). I guess I just thought it was an easy ship to work with, had one friend who liked the pairing, and voilà, a vid was made.

Date: 2021-07-26 11:57 pm (UTC)i was never "in" Bleach fandom but i remember obsessively tearing through scanlations for the series when i should've been working during a computer class in high school... it's super-charming to see this older style of vid! reminds me of how i started writing fanfiction well before i knew there was a thing called fanfiction, lol.

I wasn't "in" the Bleach fandom either. I loved Tite Kubo's artstyle and that he used a lot of Spanish words, it was neat. I think Bleach was the first series I ever read fanfiction for though 🤔 I definitely printed out a Bleach fanfic at school once (nothing raunchy, just suuuper long lmao)!
Haha! I love how making fanworks just comes so naturally. Unbridled creativity! I remember my first vid was Kingdom Hearts and the song was Earth Wind & Fire's "Fantasy" Simply because I liked those two things and I could make it fit 😂 That was all it took.
