I've been on a TS4 binge for the past week. It was terrible and magnificent at the same time. I get so consumed by that game though, it's a real problem sometimes. I can just load it up and play for 24 hours. Which I did. Twice.
I downloaded some new script mods, including Wicked Whims because I wanted to finally see what it was all about. I can't even watch my sims woohoo without feeling embarrassed so I don't even know why I got this mod 😂 I put the walls all the way up if I use it. The personality trait thing & Persuasion skill is pretty neat though and I like that aspect. I also got Basemental again and made my sim addicted to molly this time instead of coke loll. I don't even remember why I got tired of Basemental last time and took it out? Since I use my own pre-made world save, my sims already have relationships with others all over the neighborhoods and I already had story lines of rival gang members and made them the drug dealers again. I got tired of the household I was playing and started a whole new family so I haven't been using either mod much. I do however love one other adult mod I downloaded when I started this binge. There's an adult video career that adds a photography venue and I love having the photography venue. It's so cool. I traveled there and got portraits made of my new family and hung them up over the fireplace lol.
I also downloaded some other G rated mods, mostly game fixing stuff like better pay for actors. I changed from having a bunch of hair & clothes mods with little script mods to almost no hair & clothes mods and a bunch of world changing mods lol.

About my new family.
I really love them and I want them to end up having a huge family line. But I get bored of households pretty quick so it might be a real challenge. I've only ever finished a legacy challenge ONCE in all the years and hours I've played the sims. There were 2 parents, 1 adult, 1 young adult, 1 teen, 1 child, and 1 toddler in this family and I've already married a moved out 4/5 of them. I have this entire story line already and I hope I don't get bored as it goes on. So far the eldest brother is a doctor (lvl 10) and since he has the Fabulously Wealthy aspiration I also had him start painting to make extra money. He's become super rich and famous off of that and lives in one of my big mansions in Del Sol Valley with his wife and two children. The second eldest child (and 2nd son) started dating the male photographer he met that day they went to get portraits done and the father found out and disowned him (dramatically kicked him out of the family club lol). So that son and his boyfriend moved in together, got married, and moved to a little house in Sulani where they raise his husband's child from a previous relationship (i.e. from that first sims I was playing and hoeing around town with lol) and their new toddler. I plan to buy them the little restaurant across the street when they get more money. The third child and eldest daughter was forced to marry the son of her dad's longtime friend even though she only became a young adult recently and he was already an adult on the verge of elder! All because the dad was super pissed about his gay son and wanted some control back over his family. (The eldest son was being pushed to marry the family friend's daughter, but he convinced his father in a series of long talks that someone more ambitious would suit him better as the next head of the family.) The fourth child (3rd son) married that daughter instead even though she's way older than him too. So far all four of them have at least one child and the last kid of the family (2nd daughter) is still in the child lifestage so I'll probably let MCCommand Center take care of her with story progression because I only really care about the first three kids lol.

Now, as the parents are only a week away from dying the eldest son realized he has to become very friendly to his remaining siblings if he wants any chance at having influence over them as the head of the family. He and his wife are both ambitious and greedy and frankly sneaky at this point so they get along super well and talk a lot about how he wants that control over his family and how they are going to get/keep it. He pushed the father to make amends with his brother and he gave his brother 20,000 simoleons to put towards buying the restuarant he wants. He already assured his sister that after their father dies he will give his blessings and support if she wants to divorce her husband (he's actually gonna be an elder soon and I think he will die pretty quickly so I might just keep her with him until he dies, but I already have a lover character for her too so I might start having her cheat on him when he's an elder lol). And the youngest brother and sister are still happy and friendly with him (plus I dont really care about their storylines atm lol). Ah, it's so fun and I want to play more! But I'm trying to cut back because I know I shouldn't play too much. I have books from the library to read and fiction to write too.
