65 is an amazing count, if you ask me. No shade on people who prioritize reading more than that when reading is their primary choice of entertainment, but I think the point of a reading goal should be to encourage us to free up some reading time and try new things, not to stick with bad fits just for the sake of hitting a round number. Your approach sounds very wise.
