Words Are Good

I'm slowly working on my long fic. I really do enjoy it, but man have I been stuck on these latest chapters. I guess since the POV switches it takes me a while to get into the next character's head enough to write something not totally bland. I know where I want to go and what conflicts I want to have, but of course trying to transcribe the feelings I want to invoke into actual words is tough!

Well anyway, in my desperation to write something every day this month I started a new document of a little idea that's been rattling around in my brain for some time. One that is absolutely solely for me, that I have no plans at all to publish or show to anyone else at all. And gosh it is so freeing and fun to just explore my character and writing style without worrying about having too much exposition or just jumping into another scene like nothing hehe. It's like, no thoughts head empty keyboard machine go brrrrrrr. (Please excuse my meme usage, I cannot communicate without them 😔 the internet has hobbled me.)

Both ways of writing are really fun. I love the critical thinking that's a part of trying to write something interesting and pleasant to read and also the exhilaration of just spitting out all these ideas stuck in the back of my mind. Words are good.
