alaterdate: skull with a rose (Rose Skull)

Why is it that I can usually look at the computer all day with no problem, but the second I decide to start coding, all of a sudden my eyes are bothered? HM!?

Maybe because I spent the first hour picking out colors? When I said I made a mockup for my website all I actually did was draw my idea on the back of an old flyer I found at work lol. So, I know the layout I want and what to put in each box then I needed to decide on a color scheme. I wrote an idea in my notebook "gray, orange, plum, black, white". Sounds good. I have a vision in my mind of how I want it to look, just need the hex codes. So I go to color.adobe.com and mess around and put my choices into Aseprite.
I end up with this palette that I named "Maquillage" because it reminded me of an eyeshadow palette I had a long time ago.

Maquillage color palette

*Checks notes* Okay... close enough.

Don't ask where the greens, blues, and pinks came from lol. But check it out, this is pretty nice on it's own!

Even better is that those greens, blues, and pinks? They almost exactly match the colors I'm already using on my favorite page on my website.
I don't plan on changing that collections page beyond taking a stab at making the timeline look a little different. Definitely not changing the colors. So it's quite fortuitous that the palette I made matches so well! I wonder if it was a unconscious thing lmao.

Now I gotta start actually coding the page(s)! I'm excited about my website again!
