November is over! After publishing my website, having worked on it non-stop during October I didn't want to do anything during November. I thought I'd take a month long break and play some video games.

I tried to play some video games. I tried to play more Baldur's Gate 3, but I cannot play that game for more than an hour before I just get too frustrated and turn it off for a few days. So I'm still in Moonrise Towers and haven't touched it since early November.

I've been meaning to play DA2 in French again to do the Fenris friendmance, but I didn't get around to that either. I ended up staying up for 24 hours one weekend to play the Sims 4 though lmao (after I... acquired... the DLC I'm missing). I have once again come to the conclusion that the Sims 4 is not very good, but I do get really into my stories lol. Then I had the best sleep of my life for around 13 hours so it worked out.

While I was browsing the library's catalogue to see if they actually had any books in French (they do, but only at the high school attached branch I am not driving to and books cannot be requested from) I ended up seeing that they had Angelic Layer on DVD when I moved on to looking for Japanese language stuff. And I was recently having the itch to rewatch it so I took it upon myself to do so. I've been watching it while crocheting. I'm on episode 7, but I remember this show having a lot more intense mother-daughter drama, I guess I haven't got there yet.
I finished my 166 blue granny squares, hooray. 100 more squares and sewing to go. But I also started working on a filet baby blanket since my bro is having a baby.

I went to a fiber fair in November too. I went with my coworkers/friends and it was really fun, I saw some cute ideas to try out. I was not prepared for the price of skeins though omg. I did buy one though because it glows under UV light and I already know what I want to make with it >:^}

The above paragraph, but in French because that's how I originally journal-led it.

I haven't been doing the French vocab flashcards anymore because it is too boring! But I have gotten hold of an audiobook of a novel I want to read so I've been doing that and also listening to a lot of French music. French pop was my #5 Spotify genre in my wrapped lol. I learned some phrases I could use for work in ASL and I did a little Spanish practice too.
Language is not something easily quantifiable . It's like instead of being like Oh I know X-many words I should be gauging how comfortable I am picking up a random article or movie. My listening comprehension in French has improved a little!

I wrote a little, but just some snippets in my notebook while I was at work lol. I didn't finish reading any books, so I still need one more to hit my goal. And I didn't code anything because I was taking a break from that.

I've been thinking of making a Journal section on my website to do some microblogging, but I don't know if I actually want to have that kind of content on it. It's not like it'd be easy to update quickly and I already have trouble posting here consistently because I start typing something then delete it lol.

My plans for December for now are mostly all cleaning. And finishing my crochet projects, and I have that one book to read. Um that's it!
